FINE WINE INVESTMENT SCAMS
It is a sad but true fact of life that every day we hear of poor unsuspecting individuals, companies and even governments who fall foul of the scam artists.
AVOID FINE WINE INVESTMENT SCAMS
Within this section we aim to inform anyone who is contemplating wine investment, and indeed those who are already involved, about the basic steps and rules to follow that will ensure that they minimise their exposure and ultimately lower their risk within the wine investment market.
We truly believe that you will benefit from the information we share. Most, if not all of our policies are aimed to protect you as an investor; echoed by INDEPENDENT and reputable bodies (that we endorse) within the trade, such as WSTA (Wine & Spirit Trade Association), DECANTER and INVESTDRINKS (Jim Budd).
RESEARCH, RESEARCH & RESEARCH!
We now live in an age of information and technology where we quite literally have the world at our fingertips. The internet offers access to a wealth of information that is crucial when determining what and how we do things. This is no truer than when researching the right and wrong way to invest in wine. Within a matter of minutes researching the wine investment market, one is aware of the diversity of services and indeed sale prices for the same stock, management fees etc, etc! No doubt suspicions will arise as well as confusion regarding who to choose for your trading partner. So too must you beware of companies that hide behind self proclaimed success and use hard sale-tactics to part with your monies into (at best) over-priced stock, or stock that simply does not exist!
Rest assured, if you have read this far on our website – you have found one of the most transparent, as well as honest and fair companies in the UK to trade with!
It is our aim to share with you as much (up-to-date) information available, which will (we hope) enable you to steer clear of the less-desirable companies who prey on the innocent wishing to invest within the wine investment arena.
